Traditional Services: Sundays at 9am and 11am in the sanctuary of Sparta UMC. These worship services feature hymns, liturgy, scripture readings, and a sermon.

Hope Fellowship Service: Sundays at 10am in the fellowship hall of Sparta UMC.
This conversational style service is a relaxed, alternative, and non-traditional approach to worship and is an intentionally safe-space for those who may have "given up on Church, but not on God."

Children
and
Youth
Children and youth are invited to participate in worship. All of our worship services are open to people of all ages. There are worship bags available to children who come to worship in the sanctuary space.
Hope Fellowship is an especially intergenerational worship environment in which children are invited to participate in the experiential learning activities and dialogue based sermon.
Finding Your Way
If you are planning to attend worship in the Sanctuary at SUMC, the best way to enter the sanctuary is through the double wooden doors located nearest the sanctuary.
If you are planning to attend worship at Hope Fellowship, the best way to enter the Fellowship Hall is through the glass doors that open towards the church parking lot.
Online Worship
We are grateful you have chosen to worship at Sparta UMC via online worship. You are an integral part of our community of faith. Our worship service is available livestream each Sunday morning at 11am and on demand via our worship archives thereafter.
