Loving God. Loving Everyone. Following Jesus

Scripture teaches us about the importance of offering gifts to God.  All throughout the Old and New Testaments we find stories of generosity and sacrificial giving.  All of these stories are examples of God’s people giving in response to God’s love, generosity and mercy.  

At Sparta UMC there are numerous ways to offer your gifts to God.  Your prayers and presence are needed.  Your gifts, talents and service are necessary.  Your faithful witness in this world is what helps God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.   There are a variety of ways to offer your financial gifts to the church and the ministry of Jesus Christ.

  • Check by Mail​

    • Checks should be made out to Sparta United Methodist Church.

    • Mail your check to:

      • Sparta United Methodist Church

      • PO Box 697

      • Sparta, NC 28675

  • Drop your offering by the church office M-Th 9am-3pm

  • Establish Bill Pay with your bank (consult your bank to set this up)

  • Donation of Stocks and wills (consult your Financial Advisor)

  • Charitable IRA gifts (consult your Financial Advisor)

  • Cash and checks may also be placed in the offering plates during worship services
